If you need to block your card outside of our business hours, you can also do so via SMS. This works as follows:
- Send a text message to the following phone number: +4915735988325.
- IMPORTANT: You can send the SMS from any cell phone number. However, the phone number mentioned in the SMS must correspond to the phone number stored at Vantikcard.
- Content:
[Your phone number stored at Vantikcard incl. country code] [Your date of birth in the format YYYY-MM-DD].
Here is an example for the content of the text message: +491721234567 1990-12-31 - Within five minutes you will receive a confirmation SMS from our partner bank Aion that your card has been successfully blocked (this confirmation will be sent to the phone number from which you sent the SMS).
As long as the card is blocked, no transaction can be made from your card. To unblock your card, please contact our support by clicking on "Contact Support" in the app or call us directly (030-200 042119, Mon - Fri between 09.00am and 06.00pm).
